The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with many partners, has launched a campaign titled “Thailand 12 Hidden Gems…Plus 2018,” introducing the concept of “Less Volume More Value” to promote a better quality of tourism.

The project is being implemented to divert tourists from major tourist cities to potential alternative tourist destinations.

In 2018, TAT will emphasize each city’s identity and support local products, as well as promoting cleanliness, creativity, and environmental awareness, in response to diverse tourist interests.

TAT will bring out the special image of each city more clearly by using several kinds of media, and will organize the “Thailand 12 Hidden Gems…Plus 2018 Festival” event on 14-17 December 2017 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, along with holding other marketing activities under the concept of green tourism.

TAT expects that visitors will have opportunities to participate in the travel promotion activities throughout the year 2018, and Thailand can achieve its tourism goals.
