The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC has decided to run 29 additional trains to provide more than 15,000 additional tickets on all routes to serve the increased demand for travel over the upcoming Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1).
The railway sector sets up additional trains to meet travel demand for upcoming national holidays.
Accordingly, the company will add eight additional trains for the Hanoi – Vinh route from April 24-28 with 4,652 tickets. While eight trains will operate on the return leg from April 30 and May 1 with 4,652 tickets.
The Hanoi – Dong Hoi route will have two more trains operating on April 27 with 788 tickets. The Dong Hoi – Hanoi direction is set for three additional trains running over April 30 and May 1 with 1,182 tickets.
The Hanoi – Da Nang route and return journey will have two extra trains each with a total of 1,688 tickets.
Two more trains will be set up for Hanoi – Thanh Hoa journey with 906 tickets, meanwhile, the reverse route will have three additional trains with 1,018 tickets.
