Yang Prong Cham Tower is located in EaRok commune, Ea Sup district, about 100km away from Buon Ma Thuot City to the West and this tower is also called as Rung Xanh Cham Tower. This is one of the Cham towers in the Central Hiaghlands which was contructed at the end of XIII Century to worship Siva God in the embodiment of Mukhalinga (Great God) and wish for the race growing, weath and happiness.
Cham Yang Prong tower is an architectural block made of red bricks on the foundation of green stones nearby Ea H’leo stream. The tower is 9m high and has spuare bottom, each outside wall blocked with 3 fake doors and the only opened door faced to the East where is the resting place of deities. The top is open and has the equisetic shape which is different from the architecture of other Cham towers in the central region of Vietnam. Coming to visit Yang Prong tower, the visitors will feel an unique and rare cultural characteristic. Today, Yang Prong tower becomes an attractive destination of many researchers and tourists when they come to this Central Highlands.
