Ako D’hong Village is also called “Ako Thon Village”, located at the end of Tran Nhat Duat street, Buon Ma Thuot city. “Ako” in the Ede’s language means the source and “D’hong” means “Valley”. This village is one of the Central Highlands’ villages with long history, it is well harmony planning, retaining many traditional values and hospitality of the ethnic community to tourists.
In the village, there are Ede traditional long house-on-stilts nearby the Ea Tam stream which was under the management of Ama Thuot. This kind of house is inherited from generations to generations as a symbol of the Matriarchal Society where keeps the spiritual cultural values of Ede community. This is an attractive destination for the visitors when visiting this basalt land.
