This also marks the seventh time the Thai capital has won this accolade between 2008 and this year, and the multiple awards for Thailand over the past few months.
The TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, Mr. Tanes Petsuwan, received the award from Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine’s representative, Ms. Ruby Yang, a Hong Kong Film Director, at the 27th Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards ceremony that took place on September 13 in Hong Kong.
In addition, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok was voted the “Best Business Hotel in Bangkok.” The hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Gordon Fuller was also in Hong Kong to receive the award. He was jointly congratulated by the TAT Deputy Governor and TAT Hong Kong Office Director Ms. Sarima Chindamat.
Each year, Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine confers the Awards based on votes cast by its readers and subscribers. These include frequent travellers who use airports, airlines, and hotel services to visit a variety of regional destinations.
