Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association sets tasks for 2019

On February 11th, Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA) held a meeting in early 2019 and carried out the emulation and commendation work in 2018. The meeting had the participation of Mr. Eban Y Phu – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vo Van Canh – Vice Chairman of the PPC; representatives of departments, sectors and members of the provincial YEA.

Implementing the activities of Dak Lak YEA and Young Entrepreneurs movement in 2018, YEA’s standing committee and its members united and successfully organized the 6th Congress of the YEA in Dak Lak province for the period of 2018 -2021; to attend the talk-show on providing support for the startup ecosystem in Dak Lak province organized by the Provincial People’s Committee; to coordinate with Area Group to organize the Workshop: “Startup and Corporate Governance in the industry 4.0 era; to participate in training course on creative startup in Binh Dinh province, etc.

Dak Lak YEA has expanded its exchange and economic cooperation activities. Particularly, Dak Lak YEA and Champasak YEA – Laos signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the period of 2018- 2022 aiming to help youths of the two provinces to exchange, learn experiences and cooperate in developing types of economic in all fields; to receive the delegation of MCHR Company and Hao Phat Trading Co., Ltd to seek for cooperation opportunities and exchange; to greet the delegation of Jeollabuk – South Korea to work on a number of cooperation programs between the two provinces in agriculture, culture – tourism; industry and trade; education; mechanic; vocational training and coffee industry; to join in the working delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee in Thailand to learn experiences, investment and trade promotion. Participate in the Shark Tank forum in 2018 under the theme of “Business Innovation and Technology Venture” held by Shark Tank Vietnam in collaboration with VTV24 TV Channel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program “Entrepreneur Coffee” which is held on Tuesday and Thursday morning every week creates favorable conditions for members to meet leaders and speak out their difficulties and obstacles. Moreover, launching the Startup Workspace and Dak Lak Business Incubator Joint Stock Company is considered as a prominent highlight of the association in supporting and promoting start-up activities, starting businesses and consulting and supporting difficulties for start-up businesses in the province. The social security is responded by members and highly appreciated by the public opinion. The total amount to implement social security reached over 1.3 billion VND in 2018.

In 2018, the Association actively and responsibly participated in the activities of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association such as: The 6th National Congress of Young Entrepreneurs Association; Startup Young Entrepreneur Awards in 2018. As a result, 1 member is listed in top 10, 1 member is named in top 100; 02 members received Vietnam Gold Star Award 2018 (An Phuoc Automobile Co. Ltd. and Tin Nghia Transport Co., Ltd.).

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Vo Van Canh extended his best wishes to the provincial YEA’s members and hoped that the YEA will continue to promote its achievements and actively contribute to social security, startup movements and accompany with the province in the socio-economic development.
