The 7th Buon Ma Thuot coffee festival will be held from March 9-16, 2019 in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak, aiming to promote Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand and improve the value of Vietnamese coffee.
A coffee museum has recently opened in Buon Ma Thuot city in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak. On display are many items featuring the history of coffee in Vietnam and from around the world.
The 7th Buon Ma Thuot’s Coffee Festival promoting the coffee brand of the Central Highlands is scheduled to take place from March 9-16, 2019, according to the Dak Lak People’s Commitee.
The provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a meeting to make comments on the organization of the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019 on August 7th, under the chair of Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi – Chairman of the PPC and the participation of Vice Chairmen of the PPC, leaders of relevant departments, sectors and district-level People’s Committees of Lak, Buon Don.
Dak Lak is Vietnam’s largest coffee-producing province with a total cultivated area of nearly 200,000 ha and an annual output of 400,000 tonnes of coffee beans, which accounts for 40 percent of the country’s total output.
